A call for cohort one

We’re opening the Flowspect beta with twelve seats. Twelve because we want to actually talk to each person, not run a Slack channel and hope feedback bubbles up. The first cohort sets what the product becomes, and we’d rather get that wrong with twelve people than half-right with two hundred.

There’s a version of this that runs as a public sign-up with a waitlist and a launch date. That’s the version where we’d spend the next three months building features for an imaginary inspector. We don’t want that.

What we’re asking

Thirty minutes every other week, on a call with whichever of us wrote the thing you want to talk about. We work against your notes, not a roadmap. We ship between calls and you tell us what’s better, what’s worse, and what we missed.

No NDAs, no exclusivity. If Flowspect isn’t working for you after a couple real inspections, we help you move your data back and part on good terms. Your templates and past inspections are yours regardless of how this goes.

In return: cohort one is free. When paid plans open, beta members get six months at the lowest annual rate we’ll ever offer, with no conversion pressure. We handle the migration from your current tool, including templates, past inspections, and branding. We sit on the call for your first real inspection inside Flowspect to make sure nothing breaks on the day it counts.

Who we want in cohort one

Solo inspectors or small shops doing somewhere between five and forty inspections a month. People who care what the report looks like when it lands on a buyer’s phone. People willing to tell us a feature is bad when it’s bad, not after a polite delay.

The product on day one does field capture well. Voice and photos during the walkthrough, most of the report drafted by the time you close the door. What we still need to land is the editor flow between field capture and final delivery. We have ideas. We don’t have an inspector’s hands on it doing real work yet. That’s what cohort one is for.
